Erm, how exactly do you know it was Gaile? Was she running around banning people left and right while calling them noobs in purple text? Howzabout giving other people's build periodic smacks of the nerfbat? If I was her, that's what I'd do. Them again, I'm not in PR for a reason.

Date? Time? Server?
You know I'm going to call you on this, as Gaile Gray is not a PC. If you think you played with or against me, let me know, 'cause someone's spoofing and that's going to result in a timeout in the corner. Either that or you decided to post a laughably refutable thread for some silly reason.

No, I'm Community Relations, not PR. There's quite a significant difference, so I feel obliged to make that note.

Seems like your PR no matter what gaile( even if you do something else at the actual office). I think the only way to describe answering questions in lions arch....is PR

Gaile has multiple accounts, and she doesn't use the account with "Gaile Gray" character (her R/Mo7 she uses for in-game visits) to play. She specifically said that. So there's no way you could know that you've played against Gaile.
edit: Gaile beat me to it
like she said "easily refutable" :P

From what I know, game devs tend to play under names no one knows them by and don't allow anyone to know they are part of the dev team...

[sarcasm]i believe general wise guy, after all, he is providing quite significant proof that he did indeed play against gaile with screenshots and his frequent replies to his thread[/sarcasm]

I don't think Gaile plays anyway as she is far to busy playing the frog and flying here and there and if she has kids looking after them.

I remember seeing some photos elsewhere taken in Anet that'd suggest that if she had kids they'd probably be far away from home in college by now

In an instanced game like GW I can see why GvG rated would be the only think they are prohibited from on their "higher status" accounts. In openworld MMOs (most of them) GM's aren't allowed to actually effect the world while on their GM accounts unless its to solve a problem (Like they aren't allowed to kill things or mine/fish/etc just for fun - because all of this is taking away from the experience of the normal players, but in an instanced type world all of that doesn't matter)
She didn't deny ever doing alliance battles either

GvG is the only competitive format where results actually matter, since there is the GvG ladder with playoffs and seasons and etc. Unranked GvGs they are allowed, ranked GvGs they are not. Everything else, I don't see why not.

Some developers play ranked GvG. There are a couple dev guilds out there. They just can't compete in the actual tournaments.

I would say the employees are forbidden to play WoW. Not that I like it.
